I have friends of all ages

I have lovers on all continents.

I know how the air feels on the highest mountains in the world

and how the water looks in the deepest oceans.

I have met the creatures in the sky and in the jungle

played with them in deserts and mangroves

on the savanna and in the taiga

inside the sea and sweet water holes

in the forests of bamboo and of elephant grass.

​

I have been a part of dozens of families

had loving homes made of stone, wood, cow-dung and camel hair

set in the snow and under the blazing sun.

I have hitchhiked and sailed, ridden reindeer, horses,

bicycles, camels, trucks, trains, elephants and scooters

always on to the horizon.

​

I have seen hundreds of secluded sunsets

mammals and people like ants on vast plains and in cities.

I have been in trance during huge Asian electronic music festivals

and intimate South American ayahuasca ceremonies,

in enormous ecstatic European religious congregations

and intense African tribal village celebrations.

I have felt the earth shake, withstood a cyclone

and passed through a huge Australian forest fire.

Among the crying wolves and hyenas in the pitch dark nights

and despite attacks of elephant, gorilla and snakes

I have always felt save.

In the midst of Maasai tribal wars

chaotic and immensely loud Indian traffic,

Brazilian slum raids and dramatic displays

of overloads of drugs, mental disorders, spirit possessions and exorcisms

I have always been at peace.

 

I enjoy living in a city of millions

as much as surviving alone in the wilderness.

I speak seven languages

but also understand those who can only communicate with me with signs and their thoughts.

 

I know I am all of these people, I understand all their religions and emotions.

I know I am all these animals and plants, I understand that my life is eternal.

I know that every piece of earth is my home,

every cloud is my breath, every star is my light

because I understand, that I am the universe.

To blow through my body, to make my senses tremble.

Because I know it is the intensity of your love, always.

Overwhelm me, take me, let me lose all control.

It is in your mighty stream that I am free, it is in surrender that I am fearless.

I adore how you are greater than me, I worship your mighty strength.

I trust you wherever you take me.

I know you know me as yours.

​

It is a simple physical fact that you can control me,

force me, destroy my human being if you wish.

Let the truth be.

I fear not that which is real.

​

I see how much strength is in me, and I know how much love is in me.

I see how much strength is in you, and I know your love is beyond all of my imagination.

No matter how I grow in my highest thoughts, you are always beyond.

​

Play with me as you please, and I will let all your intensity flow through me.

I love you so so much.
